Let's get the formalilites out of the way shall we...?
Hello! I'm very new at this so hopefully you will be able to bare with me! I'm Beth, I'm 19 and a student currently studying in the wonderful city of Manchester.
What brings me here?
Lets cut a long story short.. I have been watching YouTube videos and reading Blogs from the likes of Zoella, Pixiwoo, FleurDeForce and Tanya Burr for quite a while now. I have always been desperate to make the jump into this strange world of sitting in my bedroom talking to a camera for twenty minutes at a time but still haven't quite plucked up the courage.. So call this blog my toe being dipped into the world of reviews and swatches. :) This however is not my only reason for being here. I recently came across a post of Zoella's entitled "Just Say Yes" (link here!) and it really struck a chord with me. I seem to really struggle with this idea of just saying "Yes!".
My confidence levels have always been an issue of mine, and despite leaving Sixth Form with an A-Grade in Theatre Studies last year I am still struggling with the little, everyday things such as raising questions at uni if I'm unsure or ringing the dentist to make an appointment. These may seem like such insignificant things but I feel as if these 'little' things have been adding up for quite a while now and it's coming to the point where my lack of confidence is really starting to hold me back.
So... Baby steps :) This blog is me taking the matter into my own hands, (It seems silly but at times I do really feel as though my confidence levels are beyond my own control.) and doing something about it. I feel if it's in writing there's no going back! So I'm going to set myself weekly tasks, stick a few beauty, fashion and lifestyle bits in there too and we shall soon see where this little blog goes.
